- First, I would need to say that I do not draw, as my efforts to do so ages ago do not count. What follows is thus an opinion of a viewer, with no technical knowledge of how to make the tools work;
- Second, as many others, I most of all appreciate artwork, which communicates emotion, tells a story, and expresses a point of view, and see techniques and perfection as tools rather than the goal;
- Third, and as trivial as it may sound, I believe that the eyes, the character’s stance along with expression play a crucial part in the impression any piece is destined to make;
- Finally, and again this may sound like a statement from Mr. Obvious, the artist’s thoughts and vision do not always match those of the viewers.

Nastya, while technically being a drawing of a photograph, is a standalone piece for reasons mentioned above.

I would not know for sure what you as an artist wanted to communicate to us, and what may have been your thoughts in the course of the creation process. What I know is that her glance and posture, the way she is toying with her hair, how she is dressed, or rather not quite dressed (which is itself is a subtle, very well introduced erotic element), and all the other details, along with the shadows and backlight, create not only a pleasing image, but a scene reaching imagination. There is no need to go into long descriptions as to what all those elements mean and why, as interpretation is very individual.

The bottom line is that you as an artist have added your own vision to photograph art, and let us enjoy your work, giving us an opportunity to write our own story for the lovely girl. At least I wrote mine… <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=":) (Smile)"/>
